Quotes
Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.
-Goethe
I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.
-Michael Jordan
Manifesto
I believe that everyone of us...each of us...has a unique, spectacular, and dormant genius in us. We all have the capacity to do more, be more, learn more, give more. I believe this at the core of my being.
This is the new home of
genuinechris.
I was recently slain by a pgyme. That pygme made accusations that were likely facutally correct, but crazy. This pygme was unwanted everywhere. You can get the details of the situation here, in the
columbus community. It's really me. Even if
genuinechris is restored, I'm going to come here, I was itching to start again on a blank sheet, anyway.
What do I have to say about that?
Well, here:
This is what happens when I get knocked down.
What you'll get out of this journal
I will try and post no more frequently than 3-5 times per week. With the old journal, I was posting a couple times per day, and I bored and irritated myself. I post a lot on politics, sales & marketing, advertising, marriage and parenting, writing, libertarian ideas, books I've read, customer service, and then a miscelanny of other ideas.
[Politics] I am staunchly libertarian. Leaning more and more anarchist, or at the very least at a decentralized, weak, difuse government. I am trying to wonder if the Gold Standard is practical, and I do have all sorts of thoughts on this issue. I do stand with Bush on a very few issues, and against him on many more issues. I dont' understand his ideology, nor do I understand much about the current crop of republicans.
I think taxes are bad, and I think a ban against gay marriage is bad.
[tags] I tag each post, and at the end of each month, I go back and ensure everything is tagged.
[family status] I am married to
areawoman and father to
jacksonjohnson
[sales] I sell mortgages currently. I am in charge of helping people get what they want. I try to give honest and simple service to my customers. I don't accept poor work or bad service from anyone. If I give it, I don't get paid.
